I thought that the last two soul nights at The Festival and Stage One were the best ever. Packed to the rafters and dancing all night, you can't beat it. New faces galore, hope they keep coming. Can't wait for Soul on Sunday this weekend.
The "Soul on Sunday" was FANTASTIC! I am fairly new to the soul scene and I am starting to recognise various tracks and route out my favourites! A quick question? When will the T-shirts be ready to buy! Already booked my flight for Jersey. Keep up the good work!
Never miss a session, great night once again.
Would echo whats being said around the soul scene Duffy track is ok and gets a good floor, seems the dancefloor is having the say at the moment.Lets see how long it keeps getting played.
Going back quite some time now Fitz but it would be a treat if you found time to play the "3 before 8" They dont get played anywhere nowdays. Now I dont know about anyone else but I used to look forward to you finishing off the night with those 3 tracks and it
always put a seal on a great night, it was something to look forward to when the night was drawing to a close. Would also be nice to see a poll of peoples top soul or motown tracks. Maybe if you get time Fitz you can add a section for us to post our list of top tracks,be interesting to see whats most popular. Well gotta be off now but before I go just wanna say well done on getting a website and keep up the good work.
Noel - thanks for your message - sorry it's took so long to post it on here, it got lost in cyberspace for a while!. Great idea about the poll - watch this space. Fitzy
Hi Fitzy, excellent news, to put a bank holiday "Soul on Sunday" night on, I will be there with the rest of the soulies to enjoy a brilliant night, the music is always top notch especially "love, love, love" - Bobby Hebb.

Despite it being the second soul night in less than a week and the good weather having an effect on the attendance, it was another great night at the Festival again last night. Keep up the good work Fitzy!

Thanks for setting up the “Soul On Sunday” bank holiday soul nights - bank holidays will never be boring again. Like the new songs added to the request section on the Top Tunes page, any chance of “Hey Girl” by “Peter Hamilton Generation”. Keep up the good work and see you in Jersey.
Fantastic night at Festival. Just checked out your website. Looks great, I particularly liked the music links. Looking forward to a great weekend in Jersey!
Hi Fitzy. It was a fantastic night last night at the Festival. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Great venue, great music! Can't wait for Jersey!
Found your site after chat on the phone, Susan and I will be booking the Weekender in Jersey 2009. I’ll have a word with Stu and Jane to get them to come, plus arrange for a wheelchair.. Can you play a record for Cath and Richard who will be at the Festival this Saturday. “Nothing Can Compare To You” by “Velvet Satins” Many Thanks. Jan.
Yet another excellent turn out and enjoyable night.Good sounds played all night long dance floor very busy. Can't wait for the Jersey trip should be a good one. New faces appeared yet again, hope they come back and anyone who has not been to this venue as yet get on down there for a great night. Soul and Motown Rule forever.

In response to GallonOfMagnet's comment re the duffy track whilst I appreciate it is a big floor filler it no more sounds like northern soul than George Michael singin heavy rock!!!!!!!!!!!!.Comments please.
Fitzy played a blinder as per usual on Saturday night at The Festival and he packed them in as per usual.!!!

After a long wait Fitzy, you have finally moved into the 21st century and got yourself a website. I am looking forward to being able to buy Fitzsoul merchandise as soon as the Fitz Shop pages are up and running.
"Happy Easter" to everyone. See you at the Festival on Saturday.

I'm not normally a fan of current chart music but must say that the single by 'Duffy' is passable as 'soul' music and has a bit of a 'northern' vibe to it, anyone agree?
GallonOfMagnet (Jim from Stabbo)
For a cross section of Northern Soul music you could do a lot worse than getting 'The In Crowd', a 50 song double CD from Castle Music (CMEDD049 dated 2001). Check out Amazon only £10.98. Anyone else got any recommendations?
